On November 9th, 2012, at the National Conference Center, Leesburg, VA, for the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards Ceremony, Olivera Music Entertainment was honored to receive the Loudoun Chamber Award for the 2012 Small Business ‘Home Based Business of the Year Award’. The Loudoun Chamber, the largest in Northern Virginia, boasts over 1,100 members, with over 800 of these members considered Small Business members, including 270 members as Home Based. For the 2012 awards, the Chamber received 347 nominations, which were narrowed down to 39 finalists in ten categories. Each Finalist received a Loudoun Chamber Award recognition plaque while guests enjoyed a compilation video for each company, produced by Mesh Multimedia. Enjoy the video:

On opening night of a large event (hosting over 3200 people), Olivera Entertainment provided corporate event jazz and dance music with two of the regions best bands, ‘Sound Connection’ and ‘Sonyx’ to kick off the celebration. The Gaylord National Convention Center served as the perfect setting for this grand event.
‘Sonyx’ establishes a jazzy ambiance suitable for conversation and cocktails in the spacious lobby while ‘Sound Nation’ brought the crowd to the dance floor in the main ballroom

A marching band, The Stone Bridge High School Marching Bulldogs from Ashburn, Virginia, provided a patriotic flair to a corporate event at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort. Entering through back doors to maintain an element of surprise, this Virginia Honors Band Ensemble entered the ballroom performing a “Main Street America” Medley. Conference attendees with ties to the military were asked to stand as the band performed “This Land is Your Land”. The band reassembled outside, performing selections from Dvorak’s “New World Symphony” as associates left the closing session.
We received an 'ESPRIT Award' from the International Special Events Society for 'Best ISES Team Effort, Budget over $200,000', an international award which draws entries from the 52 ISES chapters around the world.
