Livingston Taylor was a college favorite for the 50th birthday girl.  Her husband wanted to surprise her with a marquise performance at an intimate dinner party for twenty close friends in their home. 

Livingston was the perfect gentleman, collaborating with their collegiate son, accompanying him on “You’ve Got A Friend,” a popular song by Livingston’s brother, James Taylor.  Livingston graciously sat next to the guest of honor during dinner and thrilled everyone with a superbly produced solo performance after the meal.  As an encore, the couple’s 12-year old daughter helped Livingston sing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.  A prominent journalist called this special evening a “Top Five” event!
